Applying for a Charitable Contribution

Just as our scientists dedicate their talents to finding solutions to disease, we dedicate our philanthropic resources to helping people prevent and manage illnesses. At Daiichi Sankyo, we focus our charitable resources in these areas:

  • The community of people diagnosed with certain cancers and other diseases as well as their caregivers
  •  Supporting access to health care – with an emphasis on underserved populations and oncology
  • Science, technology, engineering, medicine/mathematics (STEM) education
  •  Communities where we work and live

Our definition of Charitable Contributions consists of funding for which Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. receives no tangible benefit in return for our support. Recognition of our support by mention of our company name, display of our logo, or corporate advertisement in a journal are not considered tangible benefits.

Our Charitable Contributions include financial or in-kind support provided to non-profit organizations including patient advocacy groups, professional medical associations, and other charitable organizations with 501(c)(3),(c)(4), (c)(6) tax status.

  • Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. will not consider requests for Charitable Contributions for events which are taking place in less than 60 days of the initial request.
  • Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. will not provide Charitable Contributions for any program prohibited under state gift ban laws or the PhRMA Code of Ethics for Interactions with Health Care Professionals.
