What types of funding requests do you support through this website?

Answer

Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. only accepts applications to support Certified Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs for healthcare professionals.

Question

What criteria do you use to determine which activities are funded?

Answer

We objectively review every complete application and fund request based on a number of criteria that include, but are not limited to: demonstrated unmet educational needs of healthcare providers, educational method, efficient use of funds, availability of funds, and alignment with Daiichi Sankyo's therapeutic areas of focus.

Question

What is the deadline to submit an application?

Answer

CME funding requests are accepted for review on an ongoing basis and can be submitted at any time. Requests must be received no later than 60 days before the activity start date.

Question

Who can I contact regarding exhibiting opportunities?

Answer

CME funding requests cannot include costs for promotional exhibit opportunities. If your event includes options for promotional exhibit opportunities or sponsorships, please separate the request and send that information to your local representative for consideration.

Does Daiichi Sankyo recommend speakers/faculty or review materials for scientific accuracy?

Answer

No, per the ACCME® Standards for Commercial Support 1.1 and 3.2.

Question

Does Daiichi Sankyo distribute invitations or enduring materials?

Answer

No, per our policies and procedures.

Question

My program date is less than 60 days away. Will you review my request?

Answer

No, per our policies and procedures.

Question

We received funding from Daiichi Sankyo for a live meeting and would now like to submit a funding request for enduring materials from the meeting. Can we receive additional funding for this purpose?

Answer

Review times vary. However, the general guidance is 45-60 days. You can assist with minimizing the review timeline by providing complete and accurate documentation in a timely manner. Question

What if the CME provider requires its letter of agreement to be signed?

Answer
