Question

What is Daiichi Sankyo's Supplier Diversity Program?

Answer

Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. is committed to utilizing the services and products of diverse and qualified businesses not only to meet our business goals, but to broaden our sources for innovation and quality.

The Supplier Diversity Program is designed to develop and maintain relationships with diverse suppliers who provide services ranging from creative resources and information system support to clinical resources and market research.

Question

I am not currently doing business with Daiichi Sankyo. How can my business become a supplier?

Answer

Suppliers who are not currently doing business with Daiichi Sankyo, but wish to be considered for future business should register in Daiichi Sankyo's online registration system, which will add them to Daiichi Sankyo's supplier diversity database.

By registering, your company may be eligible to participate in bidding processes for Daiichi Sankyo service needs. Registration by a supplier does not guarantee use of the supplier by Daiichi Sankyo and/or any minimum amount of business.

Question

How do I register my company with the supplier registration system?

Answer

It's easy. First, fill out the online registration form by clicking here. Then, fill in all of the required fields, which will be indicated by a red asterisk (*). When completing the online registration, you will need to have the following information available:

  • Federal ID number
  • NAICS code
  • D&B D-U-N-S number
  • Company information
  • Address and contact information
  • Small Diverse Business Certification(s), if applicable

After all the required fields and questionnaire information have been filled out, press "Next" on the screen. This will automatically save your company's information and your business will be officially registered with Daiichi Sankyo.

Once a supplier has completed the registration, a confirmation e-mail (RECEIPT) will be sent. The receipt should be maintained for future reference and to verify that the registration was completed.

The receipt also provides a link that allows suppliers to access their online registrations and make edits to the information as needed.

Question

I have registered my business in Daiichi Sankyo's supplier registration system. How do I know if my company will be considered for future business?

Answer

Registration by a supplier does not guarantee that Daiichi Sankyo would award business to the supplier. By registering in Daiichi Sankyo's supplier registration page hosted by Dun & Bradstreet (D&B), suppliers are added to Daiichi Sankyo's prospective supplier database and may be invited to participate in the bidding process for Daiichi Sankyo needs.

Question

Once I register, what does Daiichi Sankyo do with the information collected?

Answer

Daiichi Sankyo gathers this information to collect and report on supplier data that is required in order to provide the federal government with aggregate spend amounts for the different business classifications such as small, large, HubZone, etc.

Question

I am a current supplier of Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. Do I still need to register in the supplier registration system?
