Non-CME Grants

Overview

Applying for Non-CME Education, Fellowship, Scholarship or Academic Research Grants Support

Daiichi Sankyo applies the same standards of independence to non-CME grants with regard to content, influence, faculty selection, educational methods, materials, venues and attendees as it does to CME grants. Examples of non-CME educational programs that Daiichi Sankyo may consider supporting include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Lectures or other educational activities
  • Managed care-sponsored educational activities
  • Non-CME educational grants to patient advocacy groups or professional societies
  • Grants to support healthcare-related public policy initiatives
  • Disease state and treatment education and awareness

Therapeutic Areas

Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. accepts requests for Non-CME programs in the following therapeutic areas:

  • Acute myeloid leukemia (AML)
  • Breast cancer, specifically HER2+/HER2-low expressing disease
  • Tenosynovial giant cell tumor (TGCT)

Process

Daiichi Sankyo reviews applications for non-CME grant support on an ongoing basis. All requests must be received within 60 days of the start of the activity.

When submitting an online application, please be sure that all forms are accurately completed and that all required documents are provided electronically. Any missing or incorrect information may result in delays or rejection of applications.

Application Steps

  1. Notification of Decision
  • A confirmation email with an identification number will be sent to you within three (3) business days.
  • Once the review process is complete, email notification with the decision will be sent to the Requester.
  • If approved, a separate email with the Letter of Agreement will be sent to the Requester.
  1. Reconciliation:
  • If the completed reconciled budget and other required documentation are not received within the specified timeframes, the recipient will be precluded from receiving additional education funding.
  • A completed reconciled budget must be provided to Daiichi Sankyo within ninety (90) days of the program end date via email to OGE-NONCME@dsi.com. Any additional documentation required by Daiichi Sankyo must be submitted within specified timeframes.
  • Upon receipt and review of the completed budget by the OG&E, all unused funds must be returned to Daiichi Sankyo at the mailing address below:

  • Outcome data concerning the measured effectiveness of a completed (live and/or enduring) non-CME program or event (e.g., pre- and post-test scores, participant surveys) should be provided following program completion.
  • The provision of information related to all payments or transfers of value made to U.S. physicians or covered recipients, as applicable, is required to be submitted to DSI within 30 days of program completion.
